21st Turkish Neuroscience Congress
8 – 11 June 2023
Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Bolu
Dear Neuroscientists,
It is our pleasure to welcome you all to the 21st Turkish Neuroscience Congress that is organized by the Neuroscience Society of Türkiye at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University between 8-11 June, 2023.
From molecular and cellular neuroscience to behavior, development to imaging and experimental models to translational research on all aspects of neuroscience, there are seven plenary lectures, three short conferences, 10 symposia, four panels, six workshops and a total of 84 oral and 110 poster presentations included in the scientific program. The keynote speakers include Professors Thomas Südhof (Stanford University), Richard Morris (University of Edinburgh), Matthew Walker (University College London), William Colledge & Susan Jones (University of Cambridge), Emrah Düzel (German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases, DZNE), Hilal Lashuel (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne) and Dirk Hermann (University of Duisburg-Essen).
Distinguished neuroscientists from Türkiye and several international institutions and federations including FENS, IBRO and SfN will be joining us at the congress. We aim to provide an academic platform for sharing new developments and facilitating collaborations for new research projects in neuroscience.
Turkish neuroscience meetings have a history of 23 years and the first National Neuroscience Congress was held in 2001. Participants to the meetings have increased over the years and diversified from all pre-clinical and clinical disciplines and extended to psychology and engineering. There will be about 500 neuroscientists from various institutions and research centers at the congress.
We are looking forward to seeing you all in the beautiful city of Bolu and very much hope that you will contribute to and benefit from an excellent scientific program and also enjoy the social events.
Congress Presidents
Prof. Dr. Bayram Yılmaz (Neuroscience Society of Türkiye)
Prof. Dr. Aydın Him (Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University)
